Description
The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 GX is a 5kVA pure sine wave inverter/charger for 48V battery systems with a GX communication centre built in. You get the full MultiPlus-II 48/5000 – inverter, 70A adaptive charger and 50A transfer switch – plus system monitoring and control without needing a separate Cerbo GX. A popular all-in-one heart for home backup and ESS installations.

- Built-in GX: connects to batteries, MPPT solar chargers and other Victron devices to manage the whole system, with a display on the front and remote access via the free VRM portal and app.
- Uninterrupted power (UPS): takes over in under 20 milliseconds if the grid or generator drops out.
- PowerControl and PowerAssist: limits draw on a weak supply and boosts it with battery power during peak demand.
- ESS ready: ideal for grid-connected energy storage, including Dynamic ESS.
- Two AC outputs: the second output only runs when AC input is present.
