Description
The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 is the workhorse 5kVA inverter/charger for 48V battery systems: a pure sine wave inverter, a 70A adaptive battery charger and a 50A automatic transfer switch in one unit. It's the most popular choice for home backup, off-grid and ESS installations built around a 48V lithium bank.

- Uninterrupted power (UPS): takes over in under 20 milliseconds if the grid or generator drops out.
- PowerControl and PowerAssist: set your grid or generator limit and the MultiPlus-II reduces charging to avoid overload, then supplements the supply from the battery during peak demand.
