Description
The Victron Energy BMV-712 Smart Black Battery Monitor is a high precision smart battery monitor, designed for systems with battery voltage ranging from 6.5 – 70 VDC, with midpoint voltage monitoring. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate ampere hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery. Ampere hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.
The BMV-712 Smart Black has an additional input which can be programmed to measure the voltage of a second battery, battery temperature or midpoint voltage.
With Bluetooth built in, the BMV Smart can be monitored from smartphones, tablets and other devices through the VictronConnect app.

- Supplied with a Victron Energy BMV shunt 500A/50mV. Next to the basic display options such as voltage, current and ampere-hours consumed, it also displays state of charge, time to go and power consumption in watts.
