Our customer had an existing off grid system that was not working as it should. We upgraded the system to include a Victron Energy Multiplus II 8kva allowing for charging with a generator when needed.
The solar was already in place and with the Smart Solar RS450 we seen yields increase and a whopping 22kw sent into the batteries on the day off the install bearing in mind it was only operational at 15:00hrs.
A Cerbo and screen was fitted to allow complete monitoring both locally and remotely of the system also with capabilities of remote switching of various items.
Another main upgrade was the all new PYTES V5 lithium batteries. 4 of these 5.12kw batteries were installed with the customer looking to add more come winter. Thee batteries come with an astonishing 10 year 12k thousand cycles which is nothing short then complete piece of mind.
The customer is adding more batteries and wanted to wait until then to get a nice rack or enclosure to finish off the aesthetics. Not every job has to look beautiful as long as its safe and it works when its needed.
